Happy New Yeeeeeeear.

Happy New Year!  Okay, so I'm a little late, but hello, 2010! 

I have so so many, oh so many goals this year, big and small.  I think last year was a sort of gathering year - strength, resolve, information, experience . . . This year I have a clearer idea of what I want to achieve, and really just resolve to move toward doing so. 

I also would like to learn how to knit a good hat this winter and to plant more zinnias this summer.

You did your zinnias from seed last year, right? Because they are total poke and grow flowers. I like to buy mine here:http://shop.wildseedfarms.com/Zinnias/products/4/ because you can buy the seeds by the ounce, or even by the pound, and then do several sowings to keep them blooming as long as possible. Lots of bang for your buck. I buy my sunflowers and cosmos seeds there, too.
